It’s not discrimination — we are protecting children from pornography.

Recent commentary on the American Family Survey, and a separate op-ed by 40 authors of children’s books, both made the same argument — decrying the removal of books from Utah schools as being motivated by discrimination based on race, gender or sexual preference. This would be concerning if it were the least bit true.

It is not.

Noticeably absent from both articles was any mention of the graphic and sexually explicit content of the materials currently in many K-12 schools in Utah; so graphic that it cannot be legally repeated or described in this newspaper article; so sexually explicit that our legislative counsel recommend that we not repeat or distribute it without major alteration of written characters and blurring of illustrations; so indecent that parents are not allowed to describe the content at school board meetings.

EU’s sanctions against conservative Hungary, Poland forgotten in midst of actions against Russia.

The goal of this legal and financial harassment is clear: to take action to defend traditional and Christian values is to be “no longer a democracy.” Further, “Several MEPs are also worried that Orbán’s template might be contagious throughout Europe for other far-right governments,” — a repeat of the familiar canard of extremism leveled at any state – or person – espousing views completely normal before the capture of our institutions by the various agendas that now rule them for their own ends. Read more

Anyone can be a victim of domestic violence. Men and women of any race, age, class, or faith can be the targets of such behavior. Domestic violence can do tremendous damage to a family and have a lasting impact for generations. Read more

Why marriage is the cornerstone of society.

Our man-made law (until recently) reflected our unwritten and unchanging natural law. And no matter what harm that man-made law tries to inflict on marriage, marriage is something which we can support and strengthen through our relations with friends and family and in our own private lives.

There is extensive evidence that marriage benefits married individuals and their children in all sorts of ways. Read more

Germany’s new LGBT daycares underscore the leftist obsession with childhood sexuality.

The European Conservative is reporting that two gay and lesbian child daycare centers, founded for the purpose of “educating” children from the age of five about LGBTQ lifestyles, will be opening in Berlin in early 2023. According to Marcel de Root, the “managing director of the Berlin gay counseling center” and manager of the initiative, stated that: “It should be easier for the little ones to come out later if they are not heterosexual. In itself, our concept is the same as that of other daycare centers. The LGBTI* way of life should simply be a little more visible.” Read more

SUPPRESSION CAMPAIGN.

Last week, the American Medical Association, the Children’s Hospital Association, and the American Academy of Pediatrics sent a letter to U.S. attorney general Merrick Garland requesting that the Department of Justice “take swift action to investigate and prosecute” “high-profile users on social media” who have allegedly created a “campaign of disinformation” against children’s hospitals that offer “gender-affirming health care,” leading to threats and harassment, including a bomb-threat hoax at Boston Children’s Hospital.

The letter poses three significant problems. Read more

Maryland’s largest school district reports 582% increase in gender nonconforming students.

New data that was released last Thursday by an employee in the school district showed that Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS), the largest district in Maryland, has seen a 582% increase since 2019 of children identifying as something other than their biological sex.

“This isn’t data that the outside world has seen before,” conservative activist Bethany Mandel said in an interview with The Daily Caller. “It was accidentally shared and is incredibly illuminating.” Read more

Michigan Is Hiding A Children’s Constitutional Right To Genital Amputation In Its Abortion Amendment.

On abortion alone, notwithstanding proponents’ claims that “passing this amendment simply restores the same protections that Michiganders had for five decades under Roe v. Wade,” Prop 3 goes far beyond the controlling Roe-Casey precedent: If passed, the constitutional amendment would create an extreme regime in Michigan of abortion on demand, at any time, for any reason, without informed or parental consent, and paid for by taxpayers.

The expansive and legalistically worded language of Prop 3, crafted by Planned Parenthood and left-wing backers, however, extends beyond abortion to create a constitutional right to several aspects of what transgender activists call “gender-affirming care,” despite it being neither affirming nor caring. And Prop 3 extends that right to all individuals, including children. Read more

Canadian Doctors Want Measure to Legalize Euthanizing Newborn Babies.

A presentation by Dr Louis Roy for the Québec College of Physicians to The Special Joint Committee on MAiD on Friday September 7 urged Canada’s Federal government to adopt a Netherlands Groningen style protocol to permit infant euthanasia.

Dr Roy suggested that this should only be allowed in rare circumstances, such as a newborn who is unlikely to survive but infant euthanasia opens the door to a new justification for killing since the baby lacks competence and the ability to autonomously choose to be killed. Infant euthanasia is a form of eugenics whereby protocols will determine which lives are worth living. Read more

Physician Assistant Sues Hospital for Religious Discrimination Over Transgender Stance.

According to a Wednesday press release from First Liberty Institute, Valerie Kloosterman worked at Michigan Health for 17 years.

“Valerie provides excellent medical care for everyone, but she cannot in good conscience use biology-obscuring pronouns or refer patients for experimental drugs and procedures that violate her religious convictions and her medical judgment,” Kayla Toney, First Liberty associate counsel, told The Daily Signal. “She treated all of her patients with respect and compassion and simply asked that Michigan Health respect her religious beliefs. She should not be forced to choose between her faith and her livelihood.” Read more

Diabolical Dangers Facing Armenia, World’s First Christian Country.

Veldkamp said the Armenian chaos is an interesting dynamic in which the interests of the United States and Christians collide and overlap.

“As believers, we should look at Armenia and say, ‘This is the oldest Christian country in the world.’ This is a country that’s held on to Christianity through genocide, through Soviet Communism, through the gulags, and they’re hanging on to life,” he said. “They have some of the oldest Christian traditions in the world, and they need our help.” Read more

Organization of American States Adopts Divisive Resolution in Lima, Peru.

Leaders of the Organization of American States seemed to oppose their own people this week when they codified abortion and gender ideology as human rights.

The bulk of the resolution affirms progressive gender ideologies and language, insisted upon by larger countries including the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Pro-abortion and homosexual/trans language was also used in speeches by many delegates during proceedings. Women were no longer addressed as women, but “women in all their diversity.” Read more

Oakland residents are outraged at prostitutes working their neighborhoods in broad daylight after Newsom decriminalized loitering for prostitution.

KPIX reporter Da Lin, who said he lived in that same neighborhood but moved over safety concerns, noted that the prostitutes weren’t even concerned about appearing on the news as they recorded their segment.

“I moved out because I didn’t want to raise a family in this environment, but a lot of neighbors tell me they can’t afford to move, so their only hope is that city leaders will stop this problem,” Lin reported. Read more

Watch: Woman Exposes What Almost Five Years of Hormones Did to Her – ‘Remember, I’m 21’.

Gender ideology, the idea that gender is a fluid construct, rather than an undeniable biological fact, has made its way into just about every part of our culture, from Hollywood films to public school curricula. And it is now making its way into our medical system, with potentially grievous consequences for young children and adults.

Five years ago, KC Miller, then a 16-year-old teenage girl, made the decision to transition and began testosterone therapy. In the video below, Miller, now 21, shared “what almost five years of hormones does to a teenage girl.” Read more
