What’s Going On With Porn Age Verification Laws

Since the legislation was passed, porn industry groups are suing Utah over the age verification law…A new bill, passed in May 2023, has recently gone into effect in Virginia,  requiring users to provide identification before viewing websites with nudity or sexual content. A majority of these deaths were considered preventable with adequate healthcare. The goal of expanding Medicaid coverage to one year postpartum is to ensure better access to healthcare when postpartum complications arise, preventing many deaths.
