A Christian mother will be able to begin the adoption process and continue her lawsuit against the state of Oregon after the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in her favor on Thursday. Jessica Bates said that she was inspired to become a foster mother to two children after her husband died in a car crash in 2017. She is a single mom to five biological children.

UK to begin enforcing online age verification for porn July 25

Starting July 25, websites hosting pornography in the UK will be required to verify that users are at least 18 years old, as new age regulations take effect. The rules, which will be regulated by Ofcom, will block minors from accessing adult content by requiring strict age verification methods. Adults may be asked to scan their faces or upload a photo ID to confirm their age, depending on the site, according to Daily Mail.

The US fertility rate reached a new low in 2024, CDC data shows

The U.S. was once among only a few developed countries with a rate that ensured each generation had enough children to replace itself — about 2.1 kids per woman. But it has been sliding in America for close to two decades as more women are waiting longer to have children or never taking that step at all. The new statistic is on par with fertility rates in western European countries, according to World Bank data.

Planned Parenthood’s sex-ed program claims children are ‘sexual from birth’

Planned Parenthood, part of the radical Future of Sex Education (FoSE) coalition and one of the nation’s leading sex “mis-educators,” has an online Sex Ed To-Go program to instruct teachers on how to become sex educators — and it’s no less explicit than its other materials. The program promotes perverse ideas about children being “sexual from birth.” Planned Parenthood boasts of being the “single largest provider of sex education,” claiming to reach 1.2 million in the U.S.

One of top US sex ed leaders is unhappy that states can now protect kids from porn

The Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States (SIECUS), part of a coalition that sets sex education standards for minors, is upset about a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision that allows states to limit minors’ access to online pornography. SIECUS’s outrage over safeguards meant to prevent children’s access to pornography appears to stem from fears that its favored sexually graphic sex-ed curricula could be blocked. This tacit admission as to the sexually explicit nature of these curricula should serve as a stark wake-up call for every parent.

Demanding Murder; Needing Heroes

The New York Senate recently passed a bill awaiting the signature (or veto) of Governor Kathy Hochul. If (or rather, when) this bill is signed into law, New York will be the twelfth state to allow medical patients age eighteen and older to request a lethal prescription should they suffer from a “diagnosed incurable disease” that gives them less than six months to live. Besides the certification of two healthcare professionals, the presence of uninterested witnesses, and the retractability of the decision at any time, the bill does not require many conditions: no intolerable pain, no waiting period, no compulsory notification of the patient’s family members, and only a potential referral to a mental healthcare professional (if the attending physician deems the patient lacks the capacity to make an informed decision).

This SCOTUS Session Confirmed The Vibe Shift On Transing Kids

For the past decade, the United States has witnessed an enormous spike in transgender identification among youth that, for some, entailed strange and dangerous experiments with their bodies. This term, the Supreme Court, thankfully, intervened. In three key cases, U.S. v. Skrmetti, Mahmoud v. Taylor, and Free Speech Coalition v. Paxton, SCOTUS protected children from the fantasies of gender ideology and its biological consequences.

Financing Your Pizza – the Problem of Modern Decadence

But the proverbial latte-drinking, “avocado toast millennial” is really only a small subsection of people in their 20s and 30s. These people are actually quite affluent, if only through their parents. And contrary to what many in older generations seem to believe, this millennial affluence is one that comes in a society that won’t necessarily treat you better even if you live a responsible lifestyle.

Six pro-life medical groups ask HHS & FDA to reinstate abortion pill safeguards

In 2016, the Obama administration began weakening the Risk Evaluation and Mitigation System (REMS) safety requirements for mifepristone (the abortion pill). The Biden-Harris administration followed suit, making abortion pills even more readily available by mail-order and pharmacy distribution. Recent studies have stated that the complication rate for chemical abortions is significantly higher than previously reported. Six pro-life groups are asking HHS head Robert F. Kennedy, Jr (RFK) and FDA head Dr. Martin Makary to consider reinstating the FDA’s previous abortion pill safeguards.

4 Reasons Why Valuing Real Love Means Raising Awareness on Porn’s Harms

As an anti-porn organization, it might be surprising to learn that we believe in the fight against porn simply because we are completely pro-love and pro-sex. This global movement’s primary motivation is for real, unadulterated, and passionate love. And it turns out that when you choose to fight wholeheartedly for love, it becomes clear how damaging porn is to healthy relationships and healthy perceptions of love.
