It’s easy to trace the degeneracy of America’s sexual mores. The sexual revolution of the 1960s and ’70s is a good place to start, with the advent of the pill, the second wave of feminism, and the so-called golden age of porn. All of these paved the way for the gay rights movement, Roe v. Wade, and the brave new world of sex without children.
That was the whole point, of course. It was the womb that kept women from things like education and careers, according to the revolutionaries, so women came to despise our own bodies and the unique functions they perform. Read more
Levine said there is “no argument” about the value and importance of these treatments. But in fact, all three of them, puberty blockers, hormone therapy, and “gender-affirming” surgeries, are quite controversial. Just look at some of the commentary from an organization called the Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine, which is made up of the type of “medical professionals” to whom Levine referred. A new documentary series showcasing the lives of five teenage drag queens and their families is coming to Discovery+ this summer — and it’s already facing intense backlash from critics online.
The series’, “Generation Drag,” executive producer is modeling superstar Tyra Banks and is set to air six episodes in June. It follows the young aspiring drag performers as they prepare for “Dragutante,” a drag ball for queer teens in Denver, Colorado. Read more
