USCCB president joins bishops calling on Notre Dame to demote pro-abortion professor
Archbishop Paul Coakley and Bishop Thomas Paprocki have issued recent statements supporting Bishop Kevin Rhodes’ call for Notre Dame to rescind the promotion of a rabidly pro-abortion academic.
“I fully support Bishop Kevin Rhoades in his challenge to Notre Dame to rectify its poor judgement in hiring a professor who openly stands against Catholic teaching when it comes to the sanctity of life, in this case protection of the unborn,” the archbishop tweeted on Friday.
