The government spent decades trying to make fathers unnecessary. The failure of that experiment put society on the long-term path to collapse. Father’s Day is Sunday. It’s much less popular than Mother’s Day for a sad reason. Fewer fathers are involved in their children’s lives. That’s caused by two main factors, the first being children born to single moms. In 2022, almost 40% of births were to unmarried women, according to the Centers for Disease Control. The second reason is the prevalence of divorce.

California Sues DOJ Over Transgender Athlete Ban

California is suing the Justice Department over its demand the state prohibit male athletes from competing in women’s and girls sports. The lawsuit retaliates against letters sent to California school districts by Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon last week, ordering them to certify the ban “in writing” because, “Knowingly depriving female students of athletic opportunities and benefits on the basis of their sex would constitute unconstitutional sex discrimination under the Equal Protection Clause.

Trump May Shut Down Gender Ideology at UNICEF/Euros Rattled

The Trump administration may force the UN agency for children to hit the pause button on sexualizing children, promoting abortion, and gender ideology. Europeans want the agency to ignore the administration.

The new strategic plan of UNICEF was discussed by the executive board of the agency this week. As a result of pressure from the Trump administration, the draft of the new plan no longer has language promoting sexual and reproductive health and rights for children that was controversially included in the previous strategic plan. The draft also scaled back language promoting gender ideology.
