Pushing Abortion On Rape Victims Only Adds To Their Trauma.

The truth about abortion violence and the physical, psychological, and emotional effects of post-rape and post-incest abortions must be acknowledged by both pro-abortion and pro-life advocates.

Rape and incest are violent. Abortion is equally violent.

The truth is that the physical trauma of abortion can be horrific and can lead to increased miscarriage, breast cancer, and infertility. And for many women, the spiritual, emotional, and psychological side effects of abortion last a lifetime. The trauma of rape and incest, which is then compounded by the trauma of abortion, can leave women even worse off than had they not chosen abortion as an option.

Marriage/Family

Cuba votes to legalize same-sex ‘marriage’ through regime-backed referendum.

Cuba approved lengthy changes to its family code with allowances for same-sex “marriage,” surrogacy, and adoption, officials reportedly announced on Monday.

The measure passed in what the Associated Press described as an “unusual referendum” for the communist country, which usually sees 90% victory margins in elections. Read more

YouTube Removes Viral Video Of Incoming Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni “For Violating Terms Of Service”.

Censoring the incoming Prime Minister of Italy because you don’t like her positions even though the people of Italy did?

The whole point of her speech was that being pro-family, pro-Christian, and pro-country instills in the political class and media a visceral fear. Seems that, at least for now, YouTube has proven her correct. Read more

New York judge questions legal basis for limiting marriage to two people.

In the latest vindication of conservative concerns about the legal precedent set by forced recognition of same-sex “marriage,” a New York judge ruled that polyamorous relationships are entitled to the same legal protections as two-person unions. Read more

Parenting/Parental Rights

UK parents win gov’t commitment to reform school guidance on trans-identified students, awarded $23K.

Christian parents in the United Kingdom, who pulled their children out of a church-run school due to its guidance on trans-identified students, have been awarded over $23,900 in legal costs and a commitment from the British government to reform trans-affirming policies in schools.

The victory for Nigel Rowe, 49, and his wife, Sally, 47, comes after a five-year legal battle, according to the Christian Legal Centre, which represents the parents. The parents raised concerns after two boys in their sons’ classes at the age of 6 were allowed to identify as girls at the Isle of Wight school. Read more

How can we make the internet safer for kids? Give parents more power.

From cyberbullying and peer pressure to explicit content and websites that encourage self-harm and dangerous fads, even the most careful kid can stumble into dangers online.

As pre-teens and teens average an hour of watching videos online every day, they are regularly exposed to content their parents would never permit them to see in real life. It’s an open secret that the videos that perform best on TikTok are optimized for engagement, not age-appropriateness. Read more

More Anxiety, Fewer Children: Mental Health and Fertility in America.

Families in America are among the richest in the world, with more resources to finance consumption of goods, services, and life experiences than almost anywhere else. Yet American women still have about 0.5 to 0.8 fewer children, on average, than they say they would like to have. Why is this? Read more

Sanctity of Life

Pregnancy help goes on in Malta as abortion lobby preys upon Europe’s only nation with legal protection for the unborn.

Malta is a small island country south of Italy. There, life is embraced. Abortion is illegal. The government supports the pro-life cause.

And Big Abortion has invested millions to try and change the culture there in the past couple of years.

Malta is currently the only country in Europe where abortion is illegal. Outside forces are using manipulating tactics — some illegal — to push the abortion agenda online and on television in spite of the island nation having no desire to change its laws. Read more

Victoria’s euthanasia deaths increase 31%.

The number of Victorians using voluntary assisted dying has increased by 31% in a single year, despite the Covid-19 pandemic. In the year to June 2022, 269 people died, compared to 204 in the previous year.

The chairman of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board, Julian Gardner, was delighted with the results. “The number of people seeking to access voluntary assisted dying continues to increase,” he wrote in an introduction to the Board’s annual report. “This is a further indicator of the success of the system.”

Almost coinciding with the release of the report on assisted dying was a report on the state of palliative care in Victoria by KPMG, an independent consultant. According to Palliative Care Victoria, “Demand for palliative care services has increased by 11.9% over the last 5 years, due to the growing and ageing of Victoria’s population. Meanwhile, funding increased by only 10.2% in the same period. Read more

Mark Houck Pleads Not Guilty to Bogus Charges From Biden Administration.

Mark Houck made national headlines over the weekend after 20 heavily-armed federal agents stormed his home at dawn on September 23 — frightening his family, pointing guns at his head, and then arresting him in front of his wife and seven young children.

Biden’s FBI has raided the home of the well-known pro-life advocate and arrested him on a bogus charge that had already been thrown out of court. Biden’s administration is coming under fire for weaponizing the FBI and Department of Justice to target pro-life conservatives. Read more

At UN, King Abdullah Warns that ‘Christianity is Under Threat’ in Jerusalem.

The King may hold himself out as the “custodian of Christian sites” in Jerusalem, but certainly neither the Vatican nor any of the Protestant denominations have granted him that role. He’s self-appointed.

In Jerusalem, as King Abdullah well knows, the Israelis have scrupulously protected the religious rights of all. Christians are not leaving Jerusalem, as they are leaving Gaza and the PA-ruled areas of the West Bank. The main factor driving that Christian emigration is persecution by Muslims. In a survey conducted by the Philos Project, over 40% of Palestinian Christians surveyed indicated that they feel that Muslims do not wish to see them in Palestine. But King Abdullah has nothing to say about the pressures from Muslims that cause those Christians to leave. Read more

Astana religious confab strikes the right tone.

In the heart of Eurasia, Kazakhstan, from September 13-15, the VII Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions, a triennial event held in Astana since 2003, called upon secular and religious leaders across the globe to come to their senses and see that humanity’s shared values, universal and unchanging, must serve as the starting point for meaningful dialogue in a war-torn and conflict-ridden world. Read more

Hong Kong Pastor Tells Court His Sedition Trial Is “A Battle to Defend Human Rights and Freedoms”.

A Hong Kong pastor charged with sedition appeared in court this past week, telling the court that his trial is part of a larger battle for the future of democracy on the island.

Rev. Garry Pang Moon-yuen slammed Hong Kong’s now-draconian legal system, which has been used to force the once-widespread and fervent pro-democracy protests of 2019 almost completely underground.

Pang was arrested on April 6 along with Chiu Mei-Ying, a housewife, when the two were part of a crowd that gathered for the sentencing of Chow Hang-Tung, herself facing charges for organizing a vigil for the Tiananmen Square massacre. Read more

Sexuality

Spanish government official reportedly claims ‘children … can love or have sexual relations with whomever they want’.

A member of the Spanish government recently caught the attention of the international community after she made controversial statements regarding children and sexual consent.

Irene Montero, the 34-year-old minister of equality in Spain, recently said in Spanish at a recent legislative meeting: “All girls, boys, childrenx in this country have the right to know their own body, to know that no adult can touch their body if they don’t want to and that is a form of violence, they have the right to know that they can love or have sexual relations with whoever they want, based on consent.” Read more

New York Times Admits That Hundreds of ‘Top Surgeries’ Are Being Performed on Children.

Just a month ago, when the Twitter account “LibsofTikTok” revealed videos and audio from Boston Children’s Hospital talking about various transgender surgeries (such as hysterectomies) and “treatments,” legacy media pumped out a wave of “fact checks” insisting that this was all conspiracy theory.

To suggest that Boston Children’s Hospital would do what it was advocating in public videos and private audio was hateful, dangerous, right-wing conspiracy theory, you see.

Well, now we are informed by The New York Times that “top surgeries” are being performed on girls in hospitals all over the country. The ink barely had dried on the old narrative, and now we’ve slid on down the slippery slope to the new one. Read more

Stop subsidizing the transgender-industrial complex.

A major driver of our nation’s growing transgender lunacy is the fact that, when government subsidies are attached to it, “gender affirming care” is extremely profitable to the healthcare behemoths that have themselves become addicted to government dollars. Read more
